About
As a pre-licensed counsellor, Ashleen brings 6 years of expense working in social services supporting the BIPOC community, immigrant and refugee youth, and working as a youth outreach worker in the Downtown Eastside neighbourhood. Ashleen believes that each individual has capacity to make change in their life at their own pace, and as a counsellor, she is here to provide support and a safe space for individuals to explore the depths of themselves, in their own time. She has a calm, warm, welcoming and playful presence with a deep understanding of empathy, validating other individual’s experiences and creating spaces in the community to help others feel less alone.
