About
Hi, I’m Maddy.
I work with neurodiverse adults and youth, including ADHD and autistic clients, who are feeling overwhelmed, burned out, anxious, or stuck in cycles of masking, shutdown, and self-doubt.
If you have spent years trying to keep up with expectations that do not fit in with how your mind works, and it feels like it is leading to exhaustion, anxiety, or losing touch with yourself, you are not alone.
Our work together can focus on understanding your patterns, reducing overwhelm, and building self-trust so life feels more manageable and aligned with who you are. You are the expert in your life, and we move at your pace, focusing on what feels meaningful to you.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and neurodivergent affirming. I bring five years of experience as a teacher, where I was trained to create neuro-affirming environments. I also bring lived experience with ADHD and professional experience supporting autistic clients.
As a Black woman and adoptee, I understand how identity, belonging, and systemic experiences can shape mental health, self-worth, and the sense of feeling understood.
As a student counsellor, I offer low-cost, supervised counselling in Vancouver.
