About
Hi, I’m Harmony!
I’m a queer trans woman and a white settler living on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓ əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
I believe that healing happens through relationships rooted in mutual respect, curiosity, and collaborative consent. My work is shaped by lived experience and deep care for communities navigating gender affirmation and exploration, transmisogyny, transphobia, religious trauma, disordered eating, disability, and social anxiety. I see knowledge as something we build together. I trust that each person already carries the wisdom they need and my role is to help uncover it through connection and trust.
My approach draws mostly from parts work, somatic therapy, and art therapy, blending these modalities to nurture self-awareness and emotional integration. I aim to meet each person where they’re at and to make therapy as accessible, creative, and effective as possible. Grounded in an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and intersectional framework, I’m mindful of the power dynamics that can show up in therapy. I do my best to minimize them by prioritizing collaboration, encouraging autonomy, and sharing from my own experience when it feels supportive.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). Outside of my work, I find joy in drawing, making zines, collage, music, and makeup. These are creative practices that, for me, are essential to life and healing.
