About
Shana (she/they) is a queer, neurodivergent, settler who was born and raised in BC. They're currently a student in the Master of Arts in counselling psychology program at Yorkville University.
You can expect Shana to be collaborative, trauma-informed, harm-reducing, and person-centred. Shana is a proponent of anti-oppressive and social justice values, queer and feminist theories, and is also kink and poly friendly.
Shana has a background working with ‘high-risk’ homeless youth, substance users, sex workers and in the public health system as part of a mental health and substance use crisis team. She takes special interest in queer and neurodivergent populations.
In their own time, Shana likes to dance ballet, bake, spend time with her friends and family, and play with her two black cats Kiwi and Pepper.
